We have just finished making some major improvements to the meta-data editing popup. I suggest you go take a look at it. Simply navigate to an object and click on the pen icon in the top-right corner of the middle section.
We are aware of some issues with the layout when viewed in Firefox and are working to resolve them.

The problems with Firefox have now been resolved.
However we have now discovered a more serious problem with xxx (as used by Safari and Omniweb) which is a bit more serious. In these browsers the tabs are not shown at all. We will be looking at this problem in the near future but we currently have no users accessing then site with these browsers so it's been given a low priority.
