Browser Support

Since we appear to be getting a wide range of browsers being used I thought I ought to say something about browser support.

We have extensively tested the site with Internet Explorer 6 on Windows. We have also performed initial testing with Firefox 1 and Netscape 8 which has highlighted a number of issues we will be resolving in the coming weeks. Our aim is for the site to be usable with any browser on any platform but efforts will focus on Internet Explorer and Firefox on Windows.

If you encounter any issues with the browser you are using, whether functional or aesthetic, please let us know.

Firefox issue with the software selector

We currently have an issue with the software selector when used with Firefox (and probably any other browser that uses the same rendering engine, such as Mozilla and Netscape).

Attempting to use the software selector in these browsers will cause the site to freeze. Another effect this issue has is that clicking on the red circular X icon in the popup window will close said window as expected but it will then appear again.

We are working to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. In the meantime please use Internet Explorer to continue using the site if possible.

The above issue with Firefox and the popup window have been resolved.

As mentioned above please let us know if you encounter any browser-related issues while you use the site.
