Hi Daisy.

Okay, two issues here:

The first is that the Agent is not designed to run on servers. Servers have very different hardware and configurations that are not easily detectable. The Agent is intended to scan all of your client/desktop PCs. In most cases you only have a few servers and technicians will already know the details. You can set servers up manually.

However it is possible to run the Agent on a server and, in my experience, most of what you get back is correct and useful including software and most of the hardware. Just remember that this is not a standard feature of Parago.

The second issue is that, at present, unfortunately there is no easy way to change the icon from a desktop to a server icon (it is to do with the data tree and the fact that they are both in different categories). Future changes are planned that will allow changing between a wider range of hardware types. I will discuss the issue with the guys here and see if there is a temporary fix that would allow the Agent data to exist in a server icon.

I like the pictures too. In theory, tablets should know what case they are in and next time the agent runs (since we made the update) it should make the change itself.

Because tablets are mobile devices they tend to have fewer opportunities to upload their latest data to the network. The agent tries to upload every hour so chances are good that they will be connected at SOME point during that period. If you need the latest data you can just plug them in and use manual upload to get the data at the time that you want it.

(Less self-aware tablets may be unaware of their case type. This would be moving into the mystical realms of the Agent scan and goes beyond my simple knowledge).
